Ever done yoga inside a clothing store?  Here's your chance - the good folks at Game Set Mat, a yoga and tennis store in downtown Hanover, will be clearing space between the racks for this by-donation class.  As part of Game Set Mat's monthly fundraising series, I will be donating the proceeds from this class to Vital Communities to help support their mission to enhance community and support small local businesses.  

For this "mystical workout," we will be building stamina and connecting with our spirit. We will use repetitive movements, present-moment awareness, mantra chanting, and breathing techniques to heighten our energy bodies - prepare to be energized and inspired in a whole new way!  To save your space, either sign up at the store, call 603 277 9763, or email Susan at susan@gamesetmat.com.

If you've never been to East Barnard, come visit the quietest, most loving community in these Green Mountains.  And, if you have been to East Barnard, you will know not to miss this special opportunity to practice yoga with the good folks of the East Barnard Church. We'll meet in front of the church at 10:45 and walk across the street to the Corbett family land. However, you are welcome to join me at 9:30 for the ecumenical church service with a nature-focused theme, or stop by after the service 10:30 for a cup of coffee before the hike.  

On the stunning Corbett property, we will do yoga poses in the pine grove, on the shore of the pond, and at the crossroads of two branches of Broad Brook.  This meditative walk on flat terrain is for all levels of physical fitness, and yoga poses are optional.  Sponsored by the East Barnard church, this is a completely FREE event for the community and a great way to get to know good people.
