9:00 -10:15 am @ The Yoga Pagoda, Barnard
Please join me for ongoing adventures in yoga outside in the screened-in Yoga Pagoda at my home studio. Enjoy the outdoors without the bugs! The classes in this summer series combine:
aerobic movement (sweat)
slow stretches (stillness)
seated meditation (infinity)
Plus...
breath work
dance
deep connection
We will be pulling from Kundalini and vinyasa traditions as we revitalizeour bodies, increase flexibility, and deepen our relationship with body and mind. You’ll also be building strength and improving your mood, as well as connecting with your fellow yogis. Classes have something for spiritual seekers and workout enthusiasts alike.
For those new to Kundalini yoga, the practice includes asana (physical postures) as well as mantra (sound), pranayama (breathwork), and mudra (hand positions) in a sequence called a kriya. All levels—even beginners—will flourish during this mystical workout, which focuses on building stamina and connecting with your spirit more than on accomplishing advanced physical postures.

The view from the Yoga Pagoda
Come enjoy my sanctuary at the edge of the woods. This screened-in open air building is a peaceful, intimate space to practice with fellow yogis, and is filled with the energy of my daily practice. Located on Route 12 two miles south from the Barnard General Store, we are easy to find—look for the “Inner Lift Yoga & Massage” sign—and yes, there’s an indoor bathroom.
