Quechee Gorge Hike

This weekday-morning hike will allow us to see the quieter side of Quechee Gorge, one of our justifiably-popular tourist attractions with its breathtaking view of Vermont's deepest gorge.  We begin by quieting the mind at Dewey's Pond, practicing yoga asana and hiking along the water enjoying the sounds of the birds.  Then we take a short uphill to the Gorge Dam to observe the Ottauquechee River before it drops 165 feet below our gaze.  After a brief crossing on Route 4, we hike alongside the gorge to a spot where we do asana along the water, and tired hikers can dip their feet.  On the way back, we celebrate a stunning field of ferns with more yoga asana.

This hike will occur on the third Tuesday of the month from June-Sept. Register by emailing Miss Amanda by using this link or call her at 802-234-2125.  This event is $20, payable at the hike.
