Close out summer with a day for yourself to heal, explore, and enjoy! We'll begin at the Camp Plymouth State Park in Ludlow, VT with a Yoga Hike, an invigorating moving meditation led by Miss Amanda that uses the natural features of the forest to help us loosen our hips through various yoga poses. After our outdoor savasana, we'll drive to Plymouth to reward ourselves with a gourmet vegetarian lunch at Good Commons, a sweet, homey retreat center dedicated to the mission of providing calm, healing space.
For the afternoon session at Good Commons, energy awareness teacher Beth Pollari will lead us in a practice that strengthens our connection to the heart. Through awareness, breath, intention and movement we will connect to this radiant energy center. This practice has a myriad of benefits including strengthening the immune system, releasing stress and improving the heart and mind connection. Beth will then open the circle to a shamanic journey led by drums. This ancient practice helps allow a greater view of our energetic reality, gain wisdom and heal and balance our bodies.
Then it's hot tub time! Finish the day with a long soak in the Good Commons hot tub and feel grateful for being alive!
